Clinical results obtained with the weberneedle acupuncture system

In 2001, Weber et al. introduced laserneedle acupuncture into therapy by inventing the first acupuncture system.

Since then, numerous clinical information of a large number of users has been collected, with excellent treatment results in all acupuncture areas, especially in pain therapy. After a double-blind study on diseases of the spinal column that had been performed by Weber in cooperation with the Ruhr-Universität in Bochum, it became evident that a mere red light laser acupuncture could not stimulate sufficiently deep acupuncture points and thus the therapy results were at placebo level.

After having introduced high-performance infrared lasers into laserneedle therapy, this data was collected again and it showed that the results achieved with the infrared laser were significantly better.

The combination of red and infrared laserneedles provides an ideal combined treatment of superficial and deep acupuncture points.

A future green laser treatment of the ear will eventually close another therapeutical gap. Generally, all acupuncture treatments that have been performed with needles or other laser devices until now, can be performed in the same way with the new device.

More than 10,000 treatments have been performed with the new weberneedle system, with the overall clinical effect not only resembling to normal needle acupuncture but in many cases also exceeding the latter.

Patients generally subjectively perceived the treatments as more intensive as compared to a pure red light laser therapy.

No side-effects were observed at all.
